AmeriQuest and Nationalease Join Forces

These two companies are familiar to everyone involved in the truck lease and rental industry. Each organization represents a national network of independent truck leasing companies like Truckway Leasing. By working together, the independent companies are able to offer quality national transportation services and benefit from stronger purchasing power making them competitive with the large national companies like Ryder and Penske.
AmeriQuest and Nationalease have recently signed an agreement to combine the two organizations, creating one of the largest full service leasing systems in North America. Doug Clark, currently President and CEO of AmeriQuest, will serve as CEO for this new organization, which, for the sake of unity, will conduct business under the NationaLease banner. AmeriQuest will continue to provide purchasing programs through their Premier Partners, along with asset and transportation management services, technology products, and e-commerce solutions to the newly merged NationaLease full service provider network. As a result, the new organization will consist of more than 700 locations and 150,000 trucks throughout the United States and Canada.
Bill Ford, President and CEO of NationaLease stated, "The merger enables us to cherry pick the best services from each organization to deliver to a larger group of truck lessors."
Doug Clark commented, "With consolidation the norm in today's business environment, unifying the members of both organizations will keep them competitive in North America, ensuring their continued viability and success. The merger creates a customer driven organization that will deliver superior value to the transportation marketplace..."
With the newly enhanced buying power and service network at our disposal, we are poised to offer a more attractive line of customized leasing and maintenance packages to commercial fleets in our area. The combined service networks of AmeriQuest and NationaLease will allow us to better serve our customer's needs on the road with faster response times and enhanced availability of substitute units when needed.
